Since my engineering days, I was questioning myself: “Why do Engineers need an MBA degree?” I had seen my friends and fellow mates appearing for CAT and getting into MBA colleges. I never felt the need for opting for MBA as an engineer. I realised after 5 years into my professional career and one failed start-up, that I was so naive back then. To build systems supporting revenue you need to understand the product as well business. I was mesmerized by the newly found affection toward business knowledge. After doing some research I came across the MBA - Executive for working professionals at SCMHRD, Pune. While I was trying to get back with my failed venture, I decided to get employed again and begin my MBA journey at SCMHRD. This was a roller coaster journey I was about to take since COVID hit. Online learning was a challenging learning experience but, all the faculty members made it very easy for us to learn and grow in the past two years.

My journey is about to end in the next 6 months (MBA-Executive is 2 and a half year course), I look back at my journey and the friends I have made here, Rohan Udas and Nishant Shrivastava, sharing reels and assignments, and adding in late nights, this indeed it was an amazing chapter of my life.

Anyone in my network planning to get up-skilled, I would definitely recommend taking this journey with SCMHRD, Pune.

Lastly, a special thanks to my guide and mentor Dr. K. Rajagopal sir.
